Background: Bonnie McCawley Huffines was the daughter of Sid McCawley and Carrie Clark, and the wife of Leslie Jewell Huffines. Leslie Jewell was the son of Eralso Walton Huffines and his first wife, Nora Camden Powell.

MRS. BONNIE McCAWLEY HUFFINES, age 81, in the Bullards Creek Community passed away September 24, 1989 in the Jackson County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sid and Carrie CLARK McCAWLEY and one son S. B. Huffines. She was A member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Jewel Huffines, and a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Joe MOORE of Granville; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Sam and Tammy Moore of Cookeville; a sister; Annie Lee HACHETT of Madison. The remains are at the Anderson Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 26, 1989 at 2 PM with Bro. O'Neal Huffines officiating. Interment will be in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County. Honorary pallbearers: Sunday Morning Senior Ladies Bible Class of Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. Anderson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
