Funeral services for James Harley Huffines, age 84, were conducted at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Wartrace Methodist Church by Bro. Sammie Cherry. Burial was in the Camp Ground Cemetery with Sutton Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Huffines died Monday night at the Jackson County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Huffines was a native of Jackson County and the son of the late George and Vernie Carver Huffines.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Theo Huffines, 2 daughters, Mrs. Ara Draper Gainesboro and Mrs. Lula Eads, Nashville. One son, Leslie Hufifnes, Gainesboro, one son Georgie Gray preceeded him in death a few months ago. Two sisters, Mrs. Onia Donaho, Haydenburg and Mrs. Lena Donoho, Lafayette, Tennessee. One half-sister Mrs. Mary Mundy, Gainesboro and 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
