Ara Huffines Draper

Notes: Ara May Huffines was the daughter of James Harley Huffines and Albertine P. Forkum. She had one brother, James Lesley Huffines, and was married to Livvie Clay Draper.

MRS. ARA HUFFINES DRAPER, 85, of Rt 4, Gainesboro, TN passed away August 5, 1986 at the Jackson County Hospital. Born May 14, 1901, she was a native of Jackson County and the daughter of Harley and Tennie FORKUM HUFFINES. Before entering the Theo Spivey Home in Gainesboro, Mrs. Draper was a resident of the Richmond Chapel Community. She was a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. Mrs. Draper was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Draper, who passed away August 14, 1967; her parents; one son, Donald L. Draper and one granddaughter, Connie Elaine Craighead. Mrs. Draper is survived by three daughter, Mrs. Mary WILSON, Rt 4, Gainesboro, Mrs. Martha CRAIGHEAD, Hendersonville, TN and Mrs. Betty WILSON, Joelton, TN; one brother, Leslie Huffines, Rt 2, Pleasant Shade, TN, one half-sister Mrs. Lula EADA, Hermitage, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren Services were held August 7, 1986 at 11 Am at the Anderson Funeral Home with Bro Dewayne Chaffine officiating. Burial was in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community.
